Public works include mural commissions for the Los Angeles County Arts Commission, the Los Angeles Metro (Macarthur Park Station) and the Metro Neighborhood Poster Award. Exhibition highlights include her debut solo show at Avenue 50 Gallery and a printmaking retrospective at Self Help Graphics, Los Angeles. She received her formal education from the Rhode Island School of Design, with an emphasis in printmaking. She Rides the Lion is the studio and printshop of Sonia Romero.
